Behind the Brand
Behind the Thread
Every piece we make starts as a small, specific idea — a sleeve length, a way a fabric might fall, a colour we can't stop thinking about. Turning that idea into a garment someone will actually wear takes longer than people often expect.
In the studio, a design usually goes through several rounds of pattern adjustment before it's cut in the fabric we intend to use. We'd rather take the extra week than release something that doesn't sit right.
What stays constant through that process is the question we keep coming back to: would we wear this ourselves, and would we still want to in a year? If the answer isn't yes, the piece isn't finished yet.
